Water Tracking

Water Tracking

Keeping track of our water intake is more important than we think.

Under-consumption is a huge problem that a lot of people deal with without even knowing it. Most people are actually dehydrated and don’t even know it! That is so crazy to think about! And I know I am being a little repetitive, but I am only doing it because of how important it is! Staying hydrated is so good for your health! Not only is water the only thing that your body needs on a daily basis, but it actually helps us stay in shape as well.

By drinking the proper amount of water on a daily basis, our brain never gets tricked into thinking we are hungry instead of thirsty. What I mean by that is: When we are thirsty, our brain has a hard time seeing the difference and actually tells you that you are hungry. So, you end up eating when you shouldn’t be, which leads to excessive calories and weight gain. Staying on top of your water intake is important in every aspect. Here are 2 awesome, super easy apps that can help you track your consumption every day!

Waterlogged – Drink More Water – iOS

This one is specifically for Apple users. The interface on this is fantastic. It allows you to pick a container on the app that you are using, and as you drink, it shows that container filling up throughout the day. It is really great to keep track of how much you are drinking and motivates you to complete it! It also has a reminder setting to help you stay on track! It has a few different options, so download it and mess around with it until you set it up how you like.

Water Drink Reminder – Android

This one is specifically for Android users. The interface is appealing, it tracks your water intake, and even allows you to set alarms to remind you when it is time to take a few sips. This is really a great tool to have on your phone to make sure you are consuming at least the minimum necessary, if not more! Go download it and play around with it until you set it up just right!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Be sure to download a water tracking app to stay on top of your hydration and your health! Thanks again!
