1. Kombucha:

All too famous trendy beverage these days, Kombucha. I am a huge fan myself of this delicious beverage – just be careful you are drinking the real deal and not a sugary “fake” version! Fermented Black or Green Tea with added natural flavors- shown to prevent liver toxicity, reduces blood sugar, triglycerides, and LDL.

2. Miso:

Fermented soybeans makes up this delicious sauce! A Japanse dish made by fermenting soybeans with salt and Koji ( type of fungus). Shown to reduce the risk of cancer, improve overall heart health, and lowers the risk of stroke.

3. Kimchi:

A wide range of fermented vegetables that aid in lowering LDL ( bad cholesterol) and blood cholesterol.

4. Sauerkraut:

Made from fermented cabbage, this tasty dish is super high in antioxidants, fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, and is low cal! You can eat alone or throw it on practically any dish!

5. Probiotic Yogurt:

Yogurt is fermented milk packed full of nutrients such as, riboflavin, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, and B12.
